This Letter Is To You

       We all have those days where we just feel like we aren’t good enough. We aren’t smart enough, pretty enough, talkative enough, tall enough, outgoing enough; the list goes on and on. However, none of this is true. We are constantly comparing ourselves to other people and seeing what they have that we don’t. But why do this when all it leads to is you being unhappy with yourself?             Trust me, I know its not easy but once you realize this it makes it a bit more simple. Everyone compares themselves to other people. This means that there are people out there who compare themselves to you. As much as you don’t believe it, there are people who look at you and want something you have. The Town We Never Thought We’d Miss              I’m currently in my sophomore year of college at Roger Williams University, which, for those who don’t know, is located in Bristol, Rhode Island. Although its only a quick 2.5 hour drive back home, I cant help but miss the small town I grew up in. Sure Bristol is a small town itself, located right by the water and full of shops and restaurants in the downtown area, but something about it just doesn’t compare to Trumbull, Connecticut.             I’m sure every Trumbull kid can remember the days we would constantly complain about our town; “there’s nothing to do” “its so boring here” “I can’t wait to leave”. These phrases quickly became common and I can’t blame anyone because I said the same things.
